Jay Psaros nominated for "Male Performer of the Year" by New England Music Awards!

I am very pleased to announce that I've been nominated for "Male Performer of the Year" by The New England Music Awards! "The New England Music Awards are presented every year to the musicians who call New England their home and whose dedication, spirit, and achievements over the last year have without a doubt established them as a contributing force to the most robust and diverse music scene in the country. The NEMA nominating committee consists of a variety of music industry experts including journalists from music publications, radio personalities, talent buyers, event planners, record label executives and more. This selection of professionals collectively represents all six New England states and every awards category."

I am honored to be recognized by the music community in New England, a place that not only do I call home but draw great inspiration from. This years list of nominees is filled with a bevy of talented artists. I am grateful to be named alongside these wonderful talents and even more grateful to call many of them my friends.

As with most of these awards ceremonies, winners are based upon votes. Although I'm not a huge fan of soliciting for votes, the saying rings true that "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take!"
