In 2016, Jay began performing with drummer Matt Heisler, bass player Jon Saval and Saxaphonist Nick Charles.  What started as a fun way to break up the grind of touring and performing solo, the quartet formed a solid foundation for what would soon become a 7 (and sometimes 8) piece band capable of performing the entire sonic pallet of Psaros' recorded material.  They quickly learned they were capable of something else, which is to keep a crowd on its feet.  "For me," Psaros says, "It's a great to have an outfit that not only can match the diversity of my recorded work but can play tunes that I've always admired that might be outside of my established genre as a singer/songwriter.  With this group, we all have fun performing together and everyone comes into it with the approach that it's a musical "hang"
